Hanid Mukhtar

Fellow

Hanid Mukhtar taught economics at Quaid-i-Azam University, University of Massachusetts at Boston, North Eastern University, Boston University (Visiting Associate Professor), and Applied Economics Research Centre. He joined World Bank as a macroeconomist in 1990 and worked primarily on macroeconomic and fiscal issues. Besides publishing articles on various issues in economics in some leading Pakistani journals, Hanid Mukhtar has authored and contributed to a large number of World Bank economic reports on Pakistan. He retired from the World Bank in 2014.

Dr. Mukhtar has a PhD in Economics from Boston University.
