This policy exchange will explore how women journey to leadership positions; the barriers and biases they overcome to get to these positions and how they eventually navigate these roles. It will explore how women make themselves heard and influence decision-making in a society where leadership spaces are predominately male-dominated. This dialogue will also build upon IGC research by Nazish Afraz, on evaluating the impact of recent regulations requiring greater representation of women on the boards of listed companies, exploring its impact on performance, culture and biases.
