A seminar was organized by the Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) and International Growth Centre (IGC) in partnership with the Planning and Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, “Ideas for Growth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”, on December 19, 2017 at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Peshawar.

Responding to requests by the Federal and Provincial Governments, CDPR members have been conducting research on ideas for growth focused on the themes of government capability, firms, cities and energy. We shared our research insights with policy makers, think tanks, academics, young researchers, the media and the donor community in KP. The seminar had sessions on state capability, urban planning and CPEC related growth opportunities.
