The Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) hosted a consultative workshop on, “Punjab’s Air Pollution: Research, Policy, and Practice”, in collaboration with the International Growth Centre (IGC) and Mahbub ul Haq Research Centre (MHRC) on the 20th of July 2023 at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

The purpose of the workshop was to discuss the findings of recent research on air quality and to generate a dialogue on the policy challenges and practical solutions that can help improve the lives of Pakistani citizens vulnerable to the harmful impact of poor air quality. The discussion focused on two main areas of importance; air quality data and regulatory challenges.
