The Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) in collaboration with Sustainable Energy and Economic Development (SEED) programme, Urban Policy Unit-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (UPU-KP) and International Growth Centre (IGC) is launching its policy note titled “Stimulating the Urban Economy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: From Infrastructure Investments to Social Welfare” on Tuesday, September 22nd from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm (PST).
The policy note examines the state of urbanization and urban economy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the policy actions that the province can undertake to enhance industrialization, empower local economies and bridge the gap between large scale infrastructure development and social welfare.
The webinar will host senior policymakers, international and local experts as they discuss the future of cities and urban growth in KP.
